Strala’s wall lamp tms 180

Our passion for awakened thoughts, the joy of research and the fascination for the essence of matter are the driving force behind the emergence of our objects. The spirit of Strala is that of a seeker who is constantly challenged to get closer to the cause of the substance and to understand what is hidden behind the curtain. Strala pursues the scent of an intriguing idea, not to kill her, but to breathe life into her.
More under:

Where different worlds collide, the frictional forces that we create through our object art & amp; Furniture materialize. Because precisely there, the thought is no longer black or white – it is completely free of values. For a fraction of a moment, there is that immediacy which contains neither knowledge nor meaning, and is therefore more sensuous than anything else in the world.

In recent years, TMS 180 Strala has created a unique collection of art objects that is independent of short-lived trends and constraining norms. Strala’s objects are acknowledged and appreciated as timeless, precise and attractive works of art and use. This is Strala’s DNA.

Rope dance between strength and vulnerability

With the series TMS I researched the vulnerability and convertibility of plains and reached the borders of the material’s possibilities. Aim was a transformation by only minimal injury of the matter. A rope dance between strength and vulnerability inside the matter. A rigid metal sheets gets worked with lasers in such a way that it can easily be folded by hand. A plain mutating to a volume. It is a metamorphose – not generating a completely different object. Rather a metamorphose on half way. Depending on the perspective, the result flickers between emptiness, surface, and volume. Similar to a picture puzzle.
